Mr. Fukui brings over 30 years of experience at ITOCHU Corporation, marked by deep expertise in the insurance industry and a proven track record of strategic leadership. He currently serves as President and Managing Director of Cosmos Services Company Limited.

In his role, Mr. Fukui oversees all Cosmos group operations, establishing primary goals, operating plans, policies, and both short- and long-term objectives. He leads the organization toward these goals, collaborates with and advises fellow executives, and regularly reviews operational performance and results.

Mr. Sammy Chu has more than 35 years of extensive experience in the global reinsurance industry, who joined Cosmos Services Company Limited in 1988 and currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Asia Pacific Reinsurance Group. He leads the firm’s regional reinsurance broking operations and drives business development across China, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, and other key Asian markets.

A seasoned industry leader, he holds the professional designations of Associate of The Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) with the title of Chartered Insurance Broker, and Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF). He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

Known for his strategic leadership and deep technical knowledge, he plays a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s presence and delivering innovative reinsurance solutions throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Mr. Derek So has over 20 years of experience in insurance/ reinsurance industry. As Deputy Head of Asia Pacific Reinsurance Group, he leads the region’s reinsurance business with a focus on sustainable growth and strategic development. His expertise spans reinsurance brokerage, financial risk management, and actuarial analysis, supporting data-driven decision-making and innovative solutions.

He is a Fellow of The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF (Fellow) CIP), as well as a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).

Mr. Kaneko has accumulated over 25 years of extensive experience in the insurance industry. His background is notably diverse, encompassing roles with insurers, agencies, and brokers in both Japan and international markets.

Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to delivering optimal solutions for his clients, even under the most challenging circumstances. He prioritizes the client’s needs at every stage, taking proactive and thoughtful actions to achieve the best possible results.

Mr. Katada has over 35 years’ experiences in (re)insurance industry in Asian regions. Currently, he has specific role of Strategic Business Development which is more focused on the new business approaches – for those collaboration opportunities including Insurtech/ new risk products development/ TPA/ ePlatform/ partnership-based project-type deals, where Cosmos can be effectively working together with those various reliable business partners in the regions – on the long term basis, for the company’s further stable growth in the years to come.

Over the years, he has been working at various reinsurance companies as marketing/ treaty underwriter, like ToaRe, TransamericaRe, SCOR, and HannoverRe etc. and currently registered as a member of Insurance intermediary under The Insurance Authority of Hong Kong.

He has now been in HKG almost 9 years in total, including earlier 3 years stationing in HKG nearly 30 years before, where his wishes always continue for further many years, as a Japanese, for Asia.

Ms. Twinkle Chan is a seasoned insurance professional with over 20 years of industry experience, with extensive expertise in insurance broking, risk and insurance management, strategic marketing, and business development. She currently serves as the Head of the Commercial Retail Group, Hong Kong, where she leads a dedicated team and oversees strategic planning, sales development, and operational enhancement.
